The New Special Education Director program provides year-long professional development that includes onsite training, coaching, access to Playbook, our virtual professional learning platform, and a community of practice that will instill the knowledge and skills required for the next generation of leaders to lead and sustain change, reach effectiveness, and ultimately improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
Implement an academy that builds capacity of new special education directors to effectively lead their programs and support staff with a focus on improved outcomes for students with disabilities.
Provide universal guidance, tools, and resources to special education teachers to develop a deeper understanding of special education and instructional practices that lead to improved outcomes for students with disabilities.

Special Education Director Playbook
Playbook is a virtual learning platform that combines eight asynchronous sessions called plays with coaching, mentoring, and collaboration experiences. Playbook is recommended for special education directors, principals and coordinators. Registration ensures access to Playbook and coaching resources and training for special education leaders.
